Creating a Modular Design System
Part of the planning phase of this project included restructuring the website’s content hierarchy and user flows to better align with the client’s target audience.
It also consisted of creating an interface design system that was more deliberate and organized. This would allow for aesthetic continuity, flexibility, and an overall modular design system.
Flexible CMS
The design and implementation of a new integrated WordPress Content Management System allows the client to manage their high-volume website content changes. This was accomplished by building custom post types, fields, features, and functionality.
Showcasing A Fresh New Brand
The client expressed they wanted the updated aesthetic of the website to be bright, refreshed, and cohesive with their recently updated brand identity.
Part of this was ensuring their new website aligned with the current WCAG 2 compliance website standards. This is important to the client as their target audience will likely fall within the demographic that needs these standard guidelines to absorb online content successfully.
